The Order of the Pelican

The Pelican is given for extraordinary service to the Kingdom, far and beyond that given by most members. Peers must also support the Crown and kingdom, display courteous and noble behaviour, share their knowledge and skills with others, practice hospitality according to their means, and those skills and behaviours appropriate to the court. The token is a medallion depicting a pelican in its piety. Pelicans in fealty may wear a chain.

The Order of the Pelican ranks equal to the Orders of Defence, Laurel and Chivalry. It conveys a Patent of Arms and is a peerage in the society. A recipient can use the title Dame, Master or Mistress.
